Privacy

This is a static, independent fan wiki for The Incident at Galley House. It has no user accounts, logins, or registration. The only personal information we receive directly is the email address and message you choose to send to the contact address, which we use solely to handle the correction, question, or takedown request you raised, and then keep only as long as needed for that purpose. We do not sell your personal data.

Analytics. To understand aggregate, anonymous traffic such as page views and referring sites, we use Plausible, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It does not use advertising cookies and does not build a cross-site profile of you as an individual.

Advertising and third-party cookies. This site shows ads. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, which runs the Google AdSense program (publisher ID ca-pub-6354588534331586), and our additional advertising partner delivered through the effectivecpmnetwork network, use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, and may collect data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view, in order to serve and measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Your choices for personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), and you can opt out of many other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; ads may still appear but will be less relevant to you.

Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Where required by law, our advertising partners present a consent request before non-essential or advertising cookies are set and before personalized ads are served, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the same controls. Until consent is given, personalized advertising is not used for these visitors.

Other third parties. Illustrative images and video are served from our own media storage (Cloudflare R2), and the official game trailer is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which sets cookies only if you choose to play the video. This site also links to external sites such as Steam, whose own privacy practices we do not control.
